UHU Plast Spezial is a specialist adhesive designed for bonding polystyrene parts and a variety of other plastics in model building. Its fine metal nozzle enables economical and precise adhesive application, even in hard-to-reach areas. This thin adhesive forms a tough, clear adhesive film for strong, durable bonds.

• Polystyrene and impact-resistant polystyrene types (ABS, SAN, SB, ASA)
• Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hard and soft
• Plexiglas® (PMMA)
• Celluloid®
• Cellulose esters (CN, CAB)
• Polycarbonate (PC)
• Wood, paper and cardboard (in combination with the above-mentioned plastics)

Not suitable for:

• Polyamide (PA)
• Acetal resin (POM)
• Polyethylene (PE)
• Polypropylene (PP)
• Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
• Silicone (Si)
• Expanded polystyrene (will be attacked)

Simple Preparation:

Personal Safety: UHU Plast Spezial contains volatile and flammable solvents. You should therefore take appropriate safety precautions when handling and storing the adhesive.

Surface Requirements: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and free of dust, oil and grease.

Tools: Equipped with a fine, needle-shaped nozzle for precise application and to reach hard-to-reach areas.

Instructions for use:

Apply the adhesive, depending on the requirements, to one or both of the materials to be bonded and join them together immediately. Initial adhesion is achieved after 5-10 minutes. A high final strength of UHU Plast Spezial is achieved by dissolving the plastic surface. For this reason, the adhesive should only be applied in small amounts to thin-walled plastics.

Stains/residues: Smeared adhesive and stains can be removed with acetone or thinner for nitrocellulose lacquer. Test on a hidden area beforehand.
