UHU Allplast 6g - Transparent Universal Glue for Plastic

UHU ALLPLAST is a powerful, transparent universal glue for plastic, perfect for various household applications, crafts, repairs, and model making. The strong adhesive film remains transparent and is temperature resistant.

Areas of Application:

UHU ALLPLAST has a high adhesion to many different types of plastics, such as: polystyrene, impact-resistant polystyrene (ABS, SAN, SB, ASA) and rigid PVC. It is limitedly applicable for Plexiglas® (PMMA), celluloid®, cellulose esters (CN, CAB) and polycarbonate (PC). It is also suitable for bonding phenolic resins (Bakelite®), melamine resins (Resopal®), glass-reinforced polyester, polyurethane (PUR) and epoxy resins (EP).

UHU ALLPLAST also bonds materials such as wood, paper, cardboard, leather, metal, glass and ceramics.

Not suitable for: polyamide (PA), acetal resin (POM), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicone (Si), Styrofoam® and leather used in the textile industry.

Preparation:

Personal safety: UHU ALLPLAST contains volatile and flammable solvents. Therefore, appropriate precautions should be taken when handling and storing the glue.

Surface requirements: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry, clean and free of dust, oil and grease.

Application:

Instructions for use:

Depending on the requirement, apply glue to one or both surfaces to be bonded and immediately join them together. Initial adhesion is achieved after 5-10 minutes. The high strength of UHU ALLPLAST is achieved by dissolving the plastic surface. Therefore, glue should be applied in small amounts to thin-walled plastic products.

Removing stains/residues: Contaminated glue and stains can be removed with acetone or nitrocellulose thinner. Test on an inconspicuous area beforehand.

The dried glue is completely neutral and non-toxic.

Storage conditions:

Store the product well-sealed and upright (dispensing tip facing upwards) in a cool, frost-free place.
