UHU Kraft FlexTube Strong Transparent Adhesive

UHU Kraft FlexTube is a transparent, fast-drying, and super strong all-purpose adhesive with exceptional bonding power. It comes in a special soft and unbreakable plastic tube, ensuring clean and drip-free application. Suitable for both single-sided (wet bonding) and double-sided bonding (contact bonding). This adhesive is ideal for visible joints and transparent materials. The adhesive film remains flexible, is UV-resistant, and does not become brittle. It can also be used underwater (e.g., for PVC pond liners).

Applications

UHU Kraft FlexTube is versatile and bonds a wide range of materials, including wood, wood-based materials, plastic (ABS plastic, hard and soft PVC, Plexiglas®, polystyrene, Resopal®), metal, glass, porcelain, ceramics, leather, rubber, felt, cork, textiles, cardboard, paper, and more. Perfect for visible adhesive bonds and transparent materials.

Not suitable for Styrofoam®, polyethylene (PE), and polypropylene (PP).

Preparation

Processing conditions: If possible, use at room temperature.

Surface requirements: The materials to be bonded must be clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free.

Consumption: Consumption depends on the surface structure and application: 120-250 g/m², single-sided.

Instructions for use:

1. Clean the bonding surfaces thoroughly (dry, dust-free, and grease-free).
2. Single-sided bonding: Apply the adhesive to one side of the bond, press together – done!
3. Double-sided bonding (contact bonding): Apply the adhesive thinly and evenly to both parts of the bond – on porous materials, possibly several times. Let dry. When it is hand-firm (after about 10 minutes), press the parts together briefly and firmly. No corrections are possible after bonding.

Stains/residues: Adhesive residues and tools can be cleaned with butanone (MEK), ethyl acetate, or nitrocellulose lacquer thinner. Test beforehand on an inconspicuous spot. Adhesive residues cannot be removed from soft PVC film.

Note: Contains volatile and flammable solvents. Therefore, you should take appropriate safety precautions when working with and storing the adhesive. When bonding larger surfaces, ensure sufficient ventilation in the room.
